Member of: SynthesisAPI.Repository
Adds a new URD to a project. Returns a Boolean value; when true, indicates a successful save.
If a URD with the same name already exists in the destination project, the name will be incremented automatically. For example, if "URD1" already exists, the new URD might be renamed to "URD2," "URD3," etc.
Syntax
.URD.AddURD(urd)
Parameters
urd
- Required. The cURD object to be added.
Example
This example creates a new URD resource, and then saves it in the first available project in a Synthesis repository.
VBA 'Declare a new Repository object and connect to a Synthesis repository. Dim MyRepository As New Repository MyRepository.ConnectToAccessRepository("C:\RSRepository1.rsr10") 'Create a new URD. The following example creates a URD named "MyNewURD." Dim NewURD As New cURD NewURD.Name = "MyNewURD" 'Add the new URD to project #1. MyRepository.Project.SetCurrentProject(1) Call MyRepository.URD.AddURD(NewURD)
VB.NET 'Declare a new Repository object and connect to a Synthesis repository. Dim MyRepository As New Repository MyRepository.ConnectToAccessRepository("C:\RSRepository1.rsr10") 'Create a new URD. The following example creates a URD named "MyNewURD." Dim NewURD As New cURD ("MyNewURD") 'Add the new URD to project #1. MyRepository.Project.SetCurrentProject(1) MyRepository.URD.AddURD(NewURD)
