Degradation Analyses

Since the V7 books for Weibull++ and ALTA use similar text for this topic, perhaps we should combine into a single topic that addresses both versions? In the case of the ALTA Degradation Analysis, would it be possible to come up with a better example that's focused on an accelerated testing scenario rather than the chemical solution example that was used in V7 (http://www.weibull.com/AccelTestWeb/degradation_analysis.htm)? The LED example that's shipped with the ALTA 7 software also does not seem to be very realistic...
