Step 1: The data can be entered into a warranty folio with the dates-of-failure format, as shown in the figures below.

Step 2: Set the calculation setting as shown next:

Make sure the End of Observation Period is 8/14/2011.

Step 3: After you click the Calculate Button, you will get the results shown in the Analysis Summary area in the above figure. You can also click anywhere inside the Analysis Summary area to view more results.

Step 4: Click on the Forecast button Warranty Dates Format Forecast button.png to get the following forecast window.
