As in all other Synthesis applications, RENO introduces multiple projects in V10. This page describes specific details that apply to these applications.
Blocks can be copy/pasted across diagrams that are in different projects. The rules for doing so are as follows
If the resources used by that block are local to the project being copied from (source), when pasted in the new project (target) the resources associated with the block will also be copied and added to the target project.
If a resource of the same name exists in the target project the resource associated with the source will still be copied over to the target resulting in two resources with the same name in the target (names are no longer required to be unique). The copied block will point(remain associated) to the resource copied over from the target block.
If the resource is associated to a data source (i.e. model derived from a Weibull data folio) the resource is copied over as a model but the association removed.
Subdiagram blocks cannot be copied and pasted across projects.
If the target resources are global or in a Template project, they will not be duplicated but retain their original reference to that global/template resource
The FMRA View is not available if multiple projects are open.
