Revision as of 21:33, 12 February 2013
This page provides a summary of the ReliaWiki.org pages that are linked from the "Reliability Web Notes" feature in ReliaSoft's Synthesis applications. To access this information from within the software, go to the Reliability Web Notes page in My Portal.
NOTE: In July 2012, we conducted a review of this list and compared it against the links that were actually being used in the latest build of the software. During the process, we reorganized the tables to make them easier to use, removed pages that are not being called from the software and added missing links (although some links being used by older versions of the software are not listed). We also coordinated with developers to consolidate some of the duplicate topics. For example, since the WebNotes content is always expected to be the same for SimuMatic folios, regardless of which distribution/model was used to generate the data, SR 8.0.5 and higher will be configured to link only to the general http://www.reliawiki.org/index.php/Weibull++_Simumatic_Data page and other model-specific pages (e.g., http://www.reliawiki.org/index.php/Weibull++_Simumatic_Data_1P-Weibull) will no longer be used. To avoid display problems for users who have not yet upgraded to the latest Service Release, we left the old pages on the site and configured them all to draw content from a single source (http://www.reliawiki.org/index.php/Template:WebNotes_Weibull_SimuMatic_Data). We performed a similar consolidation for plot-related topics, where the exact same plot type can be accessed from different folios.
UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2013: In February 2013, we agreed to retire most of the individual Web Notes pages for different plot types. The Version 9 applications will all have an (i) icon integrated directly into the plot sheet control panels that provides a description of the selected plot type. This text will be loaded into PLE and translated. The "retired" web notes pages will still be visible to anyone who has not upgraded to Version 8, but the links have been moved to the bottom of this page because the content will no longer be maintained.

Both Weibull++ and ALTA
Per discussion with Brad on 9/18/12, the 8.0.5 SR will be configured to display the same links for these shared utilities, even if the user is displaying the "ALTA-Only" version of the interface. Therefore, the graphics are now "branded" in a more generic way.

Retired Plot Type Descriptions Used in Version 8
The following pages were used in Version 8 when the user selected a different plot type. In Version 9, the description will be directly available from an (i) icon in the plot control panel, so these pages are no longer needed.
