ReliaSoft’s Xfmea software tool facilitates data management and reporting for all types of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis — FMEA — and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis — FMECA. The software provides predefined settings to fit the major industry standards (such as AIAG FMEA-3 or FMEA-4, SAE J1739 and MIL-STD-1629A) and also provides extensive customization options to fit your particular analysis and reporting needs.

Xfmea provides a flexible and powerful set of tools to help you a) record and manage data for current failure mode and effects analyses, b) find and reuse relevant information from existing FMEAs, c) evaluate risk via RPN or Criticality Analysis, d) track the completion of recommended actions, e) present the FMEA data via reports, queries and charts and f) integrate the FMEA with related analyses (such as Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans and Test Plans). Two licensing options are available: With an Xfmea Standard license, you can store data in individual Microsoft Access® databases (which may be appropriate for individuals or small departments). With an Xfmea Enterprise license, you can also store data in a centralized SQL Server® or Oracle® database (which may be preferred by large departments and organizations).

If you select the Automatically retrieve notes check box, the web note will automatically update whenever an applicable window is active. Alternatively, you can manually update the note by clicking the Get Notes for Active Item button.
