Gage R&R Folios
The gage R&R folio (gage repeatability and reproducibility) is used to study the different variance components in a measurement process. The variances in a measurement process include the part to be measured, the operators who measure it, and the gage they used. The variance caused by operator and gage should be small compared to the part variation. Otherwise, better gages or more experienced operators should be used. |
