Short description.
The L/HIRF rating system evaluates all of the L/HIRF protection systems (such as shielded wires, raceways, bonding jumpers, inherent conductivity of the structure, RF gaskets, etc.) in terms of susceptibility to degradation from:

* Environmental deterioration due to atmosphere, corrosive products, condensation, etc.
* Accidental damage during maintenance or operations.

As the result of this analysis, the team may recommend one or more general visual inspection (GVI), detailed inspection (DET) or special detailed inspection (SDI) tasks for the zone.

Zonal L/HIRF Analysis

The L/HIRF rating system evaluates all of the L/HIRF protection systems (such as shielded wires, raceways, bonding jumpers, inherent conductivity of the structure, RF gaskets, etc.) in terms of susceptibility to degradation from:

  • Environmental deterioration due to atmosphere, corrosive products, condensation, etc.
  • Accidental damage during maintenance or operations.

As the result of this analysis, the team may recommend one or more general visual inspection (GVI), detailed inspection (DET) or special detailed inspection (SDI) tasks for the zone.
