Short description.
The Zonal (Enhanced) rating system considers:

*The size of the zone and the density of the equipment in the zone.
*The potential effects of fire caused by a wiring/EWIS failure on adjacent wiring and systems.

It then prompts the analyst to consider whether a zonal GVI (general visual inspection) alone will be effective for the entire zone, or if it should be augmented with a standalone GVIs and/or detailed inspections (DETs).

Finally, ratings for the likelihood of accidental damage and environmental deterioration can be used to determine the appropriate inspection intervals. The team can then use the Tasks area to record the recommended tasks.

Enhanced Zonal Analysis

The Zonal (Enhanced) rating system considers:

  • The size of the zone and the density of the equipment in the zone.
  • The potential effects of fire caused by a wiring/EWIS failure on adjacent wiring and systems.
