Repairable Systems Allocation
The Repairable Systems allocation method assumes all sub-elements are in a series configuration with constant failure rates. It also assumes that all sub-elements are identical and have a constant repair rate. The method allocates failure rates to sub-elements such that the block (system or assembly) will meet a specified availability target. |
